As a singer who has experience in classical music, musical theatre, swing, pop, rock 'n' roll and more, Tom writes and plays music on guitar and voice. His songs transcend various genres but are often described as folk, indie, acoustic pop and singer-songwriter styles; a more intimate and relaxed feel that has proven popular.
Highlights of Tom's singing career thus far have been supporting current artists such as Olly Murs, Diana Vickers, Amelia Lily and Tommy Reilly, a performance with the Gabrieli Consort at the 2011 BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.
'Stars' began in 2013 while Tom was the frontman of a young, teenage band in the North East of England called, Sus2. Later that year the band came to an end and he forgot all about Stars, thus, it was never completed! In 2015 he finished writing Stars, added it to his live set and it is now one of the brighter numbers in his repertoire.
